How to
Order Wallpaper
Start by measuring all walls in the area you are planning to wallpaper.
When measuring, take the full dimensions of the wall and ignore any obstacles such as doors, windows or baseboards. These pieces are trimmed out during install and will ensure a seamless look.
Determine your height by measuring the highest point of your wall.
Round up to the nearest two-foot increment if in between measurements. This will be the height you will enter for your order. For example, if your wall is 7.5 feet tall, you will select the 8 foot option.
To determine how many panels are needed for your project, you will need to find the width of the walls you want to cover in inches. Once you have this number, you will divide it by 19 as each panel is 19 inches wide. Round up to the nearest whole number and that will be the quantity of panels you need. For example, if your wall is 124 inches, you will need 7 panels.
*You will always need to add 2 inches extra to your wall width to ensure full coverage. A reminder, the excess will be cut off during installation.
Before choosing materials for your order, check your wall texture to see what wallpaper is best suited for your install.
NOTE: Due to the nature of our wallpaper, you cannot order varying heights of wallpaper for one space. The print will not align as our patterns are not traditional pattern repeats!

BEFORE INSTALLATION:
Allow recently painted or primed walls to cure for 4 weeks prior to installing your Wall Blush wallpaper.
To prepare your walls for wallpaper, use a damp cloth of sponge and clean the surface with water. Allow of the walls to dry thoroughly before beginning install.

Install Luxe Wallpaper
BEFORE INSTALLATION: Allow recently painted or primed walls to cure for 4 weeks prior to installing your Wall Blush wallpaper.
To prepare your walls for your wallpaper, use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the surface with water. Allow the walls to dry for a minimum of 24 hours.

Can I Install Wallpaper in a Bathroom?
With a little extra care, you can enjoy our wallpaper in your bathroom while keeping it looking fresh and flawless for years to come.
Here’s how to make sure your wallpaper stays beautiful, even with a bit of steam in the air:
Choose the Right Material:
For bathrooms or powder rooms, we recommend our Luxury Traditional (non-woven) wallpaper rather than Peel & Stick.
Non-woven wallpaper is more breathable, durable, and moisture-resistant — ideal for spaces that see humidity.
Proper prep makes all the difference:
- Make sure walls are clean, smooth, and completely dry — free of dust, texture, or soap residue.
- If recently painted, let the paint cure for at least 4 weeks before installation.
- For best results, use a mold- and mildew-resistant primer designed for wallpaper.
Keep the bathroom well-ventilated. Avoid placing wallpaper inside a shower, directly behind a tub, or anywhere water splashes frequently.
Instead, use it to highlight a vanity wall, half wall, or the area above tile wainscoting for a beautiful effect.
How Long Does Wallpaper Last?
Our Peel & Stick wallpaper is designed for both short-term style and long-term staying power. With proper care and placement, it can look beautiful for years — even a decade or more. To keep it in great shape, avoid areas with direct sunlight or heat, as that can weaken the adhesive over time.
Our Luxe Traditional wallpaper is even more durable, with a typical lifespan of 10–15 years when installed and cared for properly.
What wall types can I apply wallpaper to?
For best results, we recommend installing your wallpaper on smooth wall surfaces, but it can also work beautifully on walls with a light or subtle orange peel texture.
Because every wall surface is a little different, we always suggest ordering a sample first to test adhesion and finish before committing to a full wall. This ensures the best result for your space.
Please note that we can’t be responsible for any adhesion issues that occur due to surface texture or preparation.
How long will it take to get my wallpaper?
Each Toboggan Avenue x Wallmates wallpaper is custom printed to your exact dimensions and made just for you.
Please note that shipping time does not include production time — printing typically takes 2–7 business days before your order is ready to ship.
During busy seasons, production times may take a little longer — thank you for your patience as we create something special for your home!
What if I run out of wallpaper?
Each wallpaper panel is a unique piece of the overall pattern, so additional panels can’t be purchased directly through our website. If you need more to complete your project, just reach out to us at jennie@tobogganavenue.com - we’ll help you out!
What if I make a mistake during installation?

Because each order is made just for you, we cannot guarantee that requests to cancel or change an order can be accommodated once it’s in production.
